84% of Americans voted “skeletons” to be the least scary movie monsters, overwhelmingly claiming that they are either “secondary villains and henchmen” or “like a worse version of mummies”. 44% of the voters also mentioned how they were sure they could defeat one or multiple skeletons in unarmed combat, based entirely on general physical capabilities.
